New Waltham Rembererance Day |
||
|
Hello residents,
I wish to extend my gratitude to all whom helped an elderly gentleman who had a medical emergency during the remembrance day service in New Waltham earlier this morning. I have been advised anybody missing any coats or blankets these are being kept safe at St Matthews Parish Church and can be collected from the vicar.
The latest update is the gentleman is now stable and has been taken to Grimsby Hospital by my colleagues at East Midlands Ambulance Service for further tests and treatment. We wish him well and best wishes.
Apologies I was unable to fully join you all during the event but a wreath was layed on behalf of Humberside Police by myself shortly after 11am when the gentleman was being cared for by ambulance and was practical to do so. It was an honour to be asked and to do this on behalf of Humberside Police and New Waltham Village.
Once again thank you for support especially to residents who helped and the off duty/ retired medical professionals. In addition to all whom attended and the Scout who were professional and respectful throughout. What a wonderful comunity we have and thoughts again this Sunday to all the fallen and existing military personnel.
Thank you, Dan.
